Terms of service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Schemalink’s website, dashboard, hosted MCP service, and Payload plugin (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Using Schemalink

You may use the Service only if you can legally enter into these Terms. Keep your account credentials and project credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring that people and AI clients receive only the access they need.

Your projects and content

You retain ownership of the Payload projects and content you connect. You authorize Schemalink to process and route requests necessary to provide the Service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to connect each Payload installation and allow the operations you configure.

AI client access

Schemalink lets you authorize third-party AI clients through MCP and OAuth. You choose the projects and permissions available to each connection. AI-generated results can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for publication. Review changes before publishing and maintain appropriate backups and Payload access controls.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to break the law, violate another person’s rights, bypass Payload or database access controls, upload malicious code, probe or disrupt the Service, or use credentials belonging to another person. Do not rely on Schemalink as your only backup or as a substitute for security review.

Third-party services

The Service connects to Payload installations, database providers, identity providers, AI clients, and other third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. Schemalink is not responsible for third-party availability, changes, or content.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. We aim to keep the Service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may update these Terms when the Service or applicable requirements change.

Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Schemalink disclaims warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Schemalink will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, or business. These Terms do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.
